Benjamin+Squeaker started with a personal experience that changed the life of founder Donovan Clarke. What started as tragedy and loss, soon turned into a burning desire to remember what’s important in life and encourage other people to celebrate life while looking out for others.

The roots of the Benjamin+Squeaker brand are in animal welfare but its association has spread to other causes that share in the vision of what Benjamin+ Squeaker is trying to achieve.

So what are we trying to achieve? Benjamin+Squeaker gives consumers the choice of making a difference through wearing the product, without compromising on style and quality. It is a simple and standard product, offering assured choice. Through purchasing our product, the consumer gives back a percentage of profits to causes that resonate with the brand. The brand wants to reach out to its supporters and bring the message that social responsibility can start from the very decisions made by the individual consumer. That collectively, the individual consumer can now contribute in a meaningful way.

Selected charities are the current beneficiaries of profit distribution but consumers will soon start nominating their own causes via social networking forums. This unique brand engagement through social media, blends an off-line and on-line personal identity.
